Crab Apple #2 June/07 $275 Field grown, dug in 2007, Cultivar: Indian Magic, prolific red flowers, small red, persistant fruit, 18" pot, 5" trunk at the soil, 3" diameter above flare, BUT 3.75" wide (reverse taper) up higher - where the left & right trunks meet. This serious flaw (reflected in the price) can be addressed by either ground layering at the point of maximum width or cutting away the trunk on the left. This is a very strong tree. I would remove almost all of the branches so I could style with slender new growth (ala my asian pears - see Asian Pears For Sale) | ||
