Crab Apple #1 June/07 Price $500. The cultivar is Adams. Great bark, heavy trunk: 5" wide at the base, 4" diameter above the basal flare, 18" tall. In this pot 2-3 years so I could get some cuttings to root. Fruit shape is unusual for a crab. Profuse flowers are similar in color to the fruit - sort of purplish-red. Virtually all of the branches are too heavy, or too straight or at a bad angle; so they all need to be removed. I may do that this summer. | ||
